structured water
What is water? I explored this question with elementary students in Ottawa’s east end. Students in grades 2 thru 4 talked about what water is, why we need it and what happens if we don’t have it.
The students' responses provided the foundation for this photographic series structured water. I translated their thoughts and ideas into photographs. Constructing sets in my studio, I used experimental in-camera techniques to bring their ideas to life.
The exhibited series consists of my digital prints and the students’ artwork.
I want to thank the City of Ottawa for their financial assistance in creating this series.
