color planes

Photography has a natural connection to geometry. Elements such as lines, shapes, proportion, and perspective are used in both disciplines, creating a common visual language.

color planes is a digital photographic series inspired by Mark Rothko’s Color Field Paintings and Josef Albers’ Homage to the Square. Created through experimental in-camera techniques, the series explores the interplay of light and color to construct geometric compositions, evoking abstract worlds of form and dimension.
